David Parsons

David Parsons is a British-born standup comic based in Dallas, TX. He brings his wry take on life, love, family, and current events to any stage that will have him.

 

David performs standup at Dallas Comedy Club, Plano House of Comedy, Stomping Ground Comedy Theater, and various other DFW venues. During the pandemic, David performed online standup with Flappers Comedy Club in LA, Dat Phan & Friends, and many other outlets. David has also performed at numerous private events including churches, non-profits, and local businesses.

 

Credits include Plano Comedy Festival 2020 and 2022, Tower City Comedy Festival 2021, Burbank Comedy Festival 2021 (finalist in Festival competition) and 2022, New York City Underground Comedy Festival 2020 and NYC Comedy Fringe Festival 2021 (Best of the Fest Judges Pick).

 

As well as performing, David is a producer with Stomping Ground Comedy Theater, where he books monthly standup shows “The Playground” and “Standup Sampler,” and the Bawdy Naughty Vaudeville variety show, as well as special events. In October 2022, David will begin teaching the Standup Comedy Level 1 class at Stomping Ground.

David is available for bookings in the DFW area and, for the right engagement, in other cities in Texas and surrounding states. David can pitch his comedy at any level from squeaky clean to adult.
